Ruffles in my opinion are for bad designers and bad tailoring – ruffles are meant as a distraction to cover up tailoring gone wrong – that is my explanation for the need for any ruffles anywhere, ever.
The influence on lingerie on outerwear clearly started on the runways for AW 09/10 and guess what – its sticking around for another season. one a bit warmer where we might actually be able to rock the look too.

I got my first pair of over-the-knee thigh highs 3 years ago (I am so ahead of times and so avant garde – too sexy for my cat really) – back then people didn’t understand – they were all like – oh my God, hooker boots – how can you wear those over skinny jeans – how can you wear those over tights…over leggings?! Living in a conservative town of course did not help either…
