Clutches have been big for a while now and don’t get me wrong ’cause I absolutely love them myself…

…but when I see two brands who are this far removed from each other come up with such similar designs for the same season I begin to wonder if our darling designers are running out of new clutch ideas or what?!

First One Up:

D&G Dolce&Gabbana – Black Micol Leather Crossbody Bag for £375.00

So this little black beauty by the Italian powerhouse that is D&G is described as “classic with a twist” and carrying an unmistakable Dolce & Gabbana style…it is a 100% leather and available in a range of different colours…

But then I just came across this one…

Second One Up:

Mogil – Black Washed Leather & Snake Detail Super Size Witch Envelope Clutch for £98.00

Australian accessories brand Mogil is definitely on the rise and the fact that they came up with this design…even with the edgy bit of reptile thrown in for the extra effect…only proves they are getting their trends right.

Also made of genuine leather and to be wiped clean only, this one however comes for £98.00…does that mean we are paying £277 only for the tag that says D&G on it…or are we paying for more?
